2024 Teaser trailer
A 5v5 online multiplayer game, Baseball Rising’s unique gameplay challenges a group of early humans to build and play a game of baseball in an unforgiving environment — North America, circa the turn of the last ice age — or face extinction.
Planned for Steam release in 2024, Baseball Rising is my USC Games capstone/thesis project. The project was developed over an 18 month cycle (incl. ideation/preproduction) by a core team of myself and three developers.
Baseball Rising’s central thesis and unique mechanic is “care taking” — by turning the survival genre on its head, players survive by working together to build and play a game of baseball.
